SQ Celsius, as a part of their endeavor to positively contribute towards a better environment, have established a new “GREEN” facility in Gazipur and obtained “LEED GOLD” certification from the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). This facility, with a space of nearly 237,000 sqft, is spread over area of 3.4 acres. SQ Celsius is one of the few apparel factories (up to September 2015) with LEED GOLD certified under “LEED-NC v2009” in the world. And this is one of the few installations in the world to receive LEED GOLD certification as “GREEN” from the United States Green Building Council. The LEED rating results in a high performance installation with substantial reduction in operating costs.
