This project was a full internal refurbishment of the main HSBC facility in Sri Lanka which is situated in Fort. The building consisted of 7 stories including a basement floor, two mezzanine floors. The first, second, third and fourth floors are used as office complexes that services staff and high priority data. The system includes Main Equipment Room conditioned using sophisticated precision air conditioning system and protected using inergen fire suppression system. All MEP systems was designed to meet global standards as well as HSBC guidelines which have been stipulated by HSBC Hong Kong. EnergySolve Engineering was the appointed independent MEP consultant and the following MEP systems were designed and supervised by enhancing the contractor’s workmanship; with the goal of improving system performance to meet the prerequisites of LEED Gold certification.
